The Fire Department

Fire Chief Phillip Trujillo at Monthly Meeting

These unsung heroes of Abiquiú drop whatever they're doing at the spur
of the moment, any time of day or night, rain or shine, to battle fires,
assist with medical emergencies, or handle the all-too-frequent traffic
accidents around here. Not only are the members of the Fire Department
volunteers who don't get paid, but their work goes largely unnoticed
and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.

This page is in honor of all the members
of the Abiquiú Volunteer Fire Department!
